Features
- Integral astragal provides additional security by protecting the latch from intruders or vandalism
- Edge Guard for Beveled Mortised Edge Doors. The door edge is mortised to allow the Edge Guard Wrap to sit flush with the Door Faces.
- Edge Guard I.D. is approximately 1-5/8”
- .050" material thickness - 304 stainless steel
- Fasteners provided - #6 x 5/8" Phillips flat head, undercut sheet metal screws
- Specify any length up to 120"
- For use on 1-3/4" door
- Specify handing and either active or inactive door when ordering
- Average weight per unit = 5.5 lbs
Fire Rating
- ABH edge guards come standard UL fire rated for use on:
- Wood or plastic-covered wood composite fire doors rated up to and including 1-1/2 hours
- Hollow metal, steel-covered, composite type fire doors rated up to and including 3 hours
