Details: Pemko ERS Emergency Release Stop, Finish-Clear Anodized Aluminum
The ERS Emergency Release Stop can be used in combination with our DSH double swing hinge to create a complete anti-barricade system. This stop features a special flush bolt that is used to release the door in emergency situations and allow it to swing in the opposite direction.
Features
- Used on the strike side of the door as a stop for normal operation
- In an emergency, the stop is discharged for the door to swing in the opposite direction
- Use with Pemko Double Swing Hinge (DSH) for a complete anti-barricade system
- Designed for use in a cased opening or on a single rabbet frame
- Access plug secured by TORX security screws
- Hospital tips (HT) are standard
- Notch is mandatory for all ERS/ERSMP models
- Allows for quick access in urgent situations
- Prevents barricading when used with the Double Swing Continuous Geared Hinge (DSH)
- Eliminates ligature points across the top of the hinge
- Critical for medical, behavioral health, and assisted living applications
- Certifications: New York State Office of Mental Heath Recommended
