The OS_FM Series Offset Full Mortise Continuous Geared Hinge is perfect for creating more clearance in doorways, particularly in hospitals or correctional facilities. The offset allows doors to swing wide, moving the door further out of the opening to create space for the passage of carts, dollies, and other wide loads.

- Must be used with a square edged door on hinge side
- Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers? standard is acceptable
- Certain door and frame conditions may require an extra 1/32"-1/16" clearance
- Excessive clearance on fire rated assemblies may violate the requirements for NFPA 80
- Special FirePins are only required on 3-Hour (A-Label) assemblies.
- Offset provides extra clearance by moving the door out of the opening
- Creates space for the passage of carts, dollies, and other wide loads
- Prevents damage to the door and frame
- Extends life of doors and frames in heavy cart traffic environments
- Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised
