The 608 overhead concealed closer is a center-hung closer designed for single or double-acting, non-handed, low-to-moderate traffic interior and exterior doors weighing up to 200lbs.

Available as non-hold open (N) - door swings 130° each direction - or automatic hold open (A) in both directions (for automatic hold open, specify 90° or 105°)
Door/frame: specify prefix M (metal doors/frames), MW (wood doors/metal frames), W (wood doors/frames); frame size: 2" x 5-1/2" minimum
For aluminum doors/frames (frame size 1-3/4" x 4"), specify 608EL (end load arm) or 608SL (side load arm); side load arm attaches to the spindle thru the face of the door
Includes bottom pivot
Adjustable closing and latch speeds
Frame stop is required - Norton Rixson 60131 recommended
Closer must be used with auxiliary floor or wall stop
Extended spindle: 1/2" longer than standard closer spindle - must be ordered as part of the closer and cannot be added later
Optional: 199 end caps for top and bottom or wood door
Door weight up to 200lbs.
