Details: Schlage M490/492 Max Security Electromagnetic Lock

The Schlage M490 is used as part of an electronic access control system usually combined with request-to-exit devices and credential readers. Standard features include automatic voltage selection, field-selectable handing, and bayonet mounting bracket for easy hands-free installation. The "Plus" model adds intelligent sensing and reporting features needed for integration with access control systems.

All Schlage electromagnetic locks come with a limited lifetime warranty on the magnetic coil assembly for added confidence in the longevity of these robust products.

Armature mount pivot feature compensates for slight opening imperfections for a better bond
Plus featured models are designated with a "P" and include magnetic bond sensor (MBS), relocking time delay (RTD) and door position switch (DPS)
Plus models have option for combined anti-tamper switch with magnetic bond sensor in one kit (ATS/LED)
Single door models convert to double with optional bracket
