Details: Pemko HM Series Half Mortise Continuous Geared Hinge

The HM Series Half Mortise Continuous Geared Hinge is designed mainly for retrofit work and is applied to the exposed surface of the frame and the door edge. This hinge is available in standard and heavy duty models, and requires only 5/32" of clearance.

Features

Standard and heavy duty versions available
For new or retrofit work on swinging type fire doors
Applied to the exposed surface of the frame and the door edge
Designed to require only 5/32" clearance, allows for adjustments to properly align
Frame portion fasteners are 12-24 × 7/16" Phillips Head Type C, threadforming
Door portion fasteners are 12-24 × 7/16" FHUC, Type C, threadforming
Special FirePins are only required on 3-Hour (A-Label) assemblies
Certain door and frame conditions may require an extra 1/32"-1/16" clearance
Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised
Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers? standard is acceptable
Guaranteed for the life of the opening against defects in material or workmanship
Excessive clearance on fire rated assemblies may violate the requirements for NFPA 80
