Details: Pemko X25M Series Continuous Geared Hinge For 2-1/2" Doors

The X25M Series Continuous Geared Hinge is, designed specifically for 2-1/2" thick doors, and features thicker leaves than a traditional continuous hinge. This versatile hinge is ideal for new door installations with electrical modifications as it allows for a deeper cavity for electrical wires.

Features

Extra heavy duty
Designed for door applications with electrical modifications
For use with 2-1/2" thick doors
Applied to conceal both leaves for safety and security
Certain door and frame conditions may require an extra 1/32"-1/16" clearance
Excessive clearance on fire rated assemblies may violate the requirements for NFPA 80
Distributes door weight evenly, extending life of door
Makes the door operate smoothly
Electrical wiring is concealed to prevent tampering
Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers' standard is acceptable
Special hinge reinforcements are not required
Certifications: Health Product Declaration (HPD), UL 10C - Standard for Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies, ANSI/BHMA Standard A156.26
Note: Door edge must be square on hinge side. For beveled edge doors, additional clearances are required.
