Trine's very low current draw electric strike that can be used with PoE (Power over Ethernet) devices. Low Current Draw ™ electric strikes use less then 300 Milliamps (.300 Amps) or around 3.6 - 3.7.Watts to activate.
This provides plenty of "cushion" for PoE based access control systems, room to run longer wires, or extra amps to run additional devices. An electric strike of this variety does not come with an Ethernet port as a remote activation like that would rarely be used and not how such a devices is commonly used.
List of Low Current Draw ™ Electric Strikes:

| 4850LCD | .135 Amps @ 24DC uses 3.24 Watts. |
| The Entire EN Series | The only UL Outdoor Rated Strikes which include the popular EN400 for Cylindrical and Mortise Locks and the EN400RP for Rim Panic Exit Devices. All strikes are -- .280 Amps @ 12DC uses 3.36 Watts & .150 Amps @ 24DC uses 3.6 Watts |

1. Easy Install
Traditionally, to use an electric strike on a PoE system a second power supply had to be run. With a Low Current Draw ™ electric strike, this is no longer necessary. It will run fromth power provided through the access control system. These electric strikes provide a power cushion which can be used any way you need.
2. Smaller Power Supplies
Low Current Draw ™ means you can use smaller power supplies and save some green. It's also peace of mind, knowing that you won't need to worry about power supply size problems or issues with amperage drop. Make your everyday installations hassle free.
